Tartu Ülikool arendab uut õppeinfosüsteemi - ÕIS 2. Uus õppeinfosüsteem võetakse kasutusele järk-järgult.

  • Õppijad kasutavad ÕIS 2 keskkonda.
  • Töötajad kasutavad ÕIS 1 ja ÕIS 2 keskkonda.


Õppeinfosüsteem ehk ÕIS on Tartu Ülikooli ametlik õppekorralduse infovahetuskeskkond, mis võeti kasutusele 6. novembril 2001. aastal.

Õppijad kasutavad ainult ÕIS 2 keskkonda alates 11. veebruarist 2019. ÕISi kasutamist reguleerib "Õppeinfosüsteemi korraldus Tartu Ülikoolis".

Programmijuhi roll avati ÕIS 2 keskkonnas kasutamiseks alates 20. septembrist 2021.

Õppekorralduse spetsilisti roll avati ÕIS 2 keskkonnas kautamiseks alates 11. novembrist 2021.

Õppejõu roll avati ÕIS 2 keskkonnas kasutamiseks novembris 2021.


ÕIS koosneb moodulitest, mis sisaldavad õppetöö korraldamiseks vajalikke andmeid, neist olulisemad on:

  • õppekavade moodul, mis sisaldab ülikooli kõigi õppekavade üldandmeid ja kõigi aastate versioone;
  • õppeainete moodul, mis sisaldab kõigi ülikoolis õpetatavate õppeainete üldandmeid ja õppeaine igaks toimumise semestriks vormistatud versioone;
  • õppetööle registreerimise moodul, milles toimub õppeainete avamine registreerimiseks ning õppeainetele, samuti kontrolltöödele, eksamitele või arvestustele ning korduseksamitele registreerumine;
  • tunni- ja eksamiplaanide moodul, mis sisaldab õppeainete tunde ning struktuuriüksuste tunni- ja eksamiplaane;
  • õppetulemuste moodul, milles vormistataks eksami-, kaitsmis-, täiendusõppeprogrammide ja ühisõppekavade protokollid ning VÕTA otsused;
  • õppijate ja õppekohtade moodul, mis sisaldab õppijate ja nende õppekohtade andmeid.

The University of Tartu is developing a new Study Information System – SIS 2. The new Study Information System becomes operative gradually.

  • Learners use the SIS 2.
  • Employees use the SIS 1 and SIS 2.


The Study Information System or SIS is the official information exchange environment for organisation of studies at the University of Tartu; it was taken into use on 6 November 2001.

Learners have been using only the SIS 2 environment since 11 February 2019. The use of the SIS is regulated by Arrangement of the Study Information System at the University of Tartu.

The role of the programme director was opened for use in SIS 2 as of September 20, 2021.

The role of academic affairs specialist was opened for use in SIS 2 as of 11 November 2021.

The role of a lecturer was opened for use in the SIS 2 in November 2021. 


The SIS consists of modules that contain the data necessary for the organization of studies, the most important of which are: 

  • the module of curricula, which contains general information on all the curricula of the university and all their yearly versions;
  • the module of courses, which contains general information on all the courses taught by the university and their syllabuses for each semester;
  • the module of registration for courses where courses are opened for registration, and learners can register for courses, tests, exams or pass-fail evaluations and repeat exams;
  • the module of timetables and exam schedules, which contains classes of courses and timetables and exam schedules of structural units;
  • the module of study results, which contains reports of exams, defences, continuing education programmes and joint curricula and RPL decisions;
  • the module of learners and study places, which contains information on learners and their study places.
