Sarnane meeldetuletus saadetakse ka õppija õppekava üldandmetesse sisestatud VÕTA nõustajate ja välismaale õppima määramise korralduse koostaja ülikooli e-posti aadressile (...@ut.ee) ning ÕISi teadete postkasti.

See teavitus on seotud välismaal õppimise õppeaja lõpuga. Seoses koroonaviirusega, palun kindlasti järgi TÜ juhiseid viiruse levitamise vältimiseks: https://ut.ee/koroona


Vastavalt TÜ õppekorralduseeskirjale, on väliskõrgkooli õpitulemuste tõendi esitamiseks aega 8 nädalat välismaal õppimise perioodi lõppkuupäevast. Palun kindlasti teavitada oma instituuti/kolledžit, kui 8 nädala jooksul ei saa õpitulemusi esitada.

Väliskõrgkoolis õppijaks arvamise korralduse ja õppeplaani kohaselt on Teil õigus saada nominaalaja pikendust väliskõrgkoolis õppimisele järgneva(te)l semestri(te)l. Nominaalaja pikendus määratakse automaatselt väliskõrgkoolis õppimisele järgneva semestri alguses, kas üheks või kaheks semestriks, vastavalt välisõpingute kestvusele semestrites ja eeldusel, et välisõpingute maht oli vähemalt 15 EAP semestris. Kui 8 nädala jooksul esitatud õpitulemused ei anna õigust nominaalaja pikenduseks (vt https://ut.ee/et/opirande-asjaajamine), siis pikendusaega andev korraldus tühistatakse ja Te peate hüvitama õppetasu tegemata ainepunktide eest tavapärases korras. Tulenevalt üliõpilasvahetusprogrammist võib olla kohustus täiendavaks aruandluseks, selles osas palun järgida programmi tingimusi ja tähtaegu.

Kui Teil on kindel plaan minna väliskõrgkooli õppima äsja lõppenud välisõpingutele järgneval semestril (TÜ semestrite kohaselt), siis palun teavitada valdkonna dekanaati kahe nädala jooksul tänasest alates ja vormistada välismaal õppijaks arvamiseks vajalikud dokumendid. Siis ei vormistata lõppenud välisõpingute eest nominaalaja pikenduse korraldust.

Kui Teil on soov võtta välisõpingutele järgneval semestril akadeemiline puhkus, siis palun arvestada, et akadeemilise puhkuse järgselt on vaja välisõpingute eest antavat nominaalaja pikendust eraldiseisvalt taotleda. Nominaalaja pikendust tuleb taotleda vahetult enne akadeemilise puhkuse lõppu v.a juhul, kui väliskõrgkoolist saadud õpitulemused ei võimalda saada nominaalaja pikendust (kuigi õppeplaani järgi võis seda eeldada). Akadeemilise puhkuse järgselt nominaalaja pikendust automaatselt ei määrata!
Soovitav on valida akadeemilise puhkuse perioodiks kas semester või õppeaasta, et mitte kaotada õppimiseks ettenähtud aega.

Teavitust ei saadeta, kui välismaale õppimamineku korralduse alaliigiks on välismaale õppijaks lubamine/vormistamine ühisõppekava või piiriülese ühisõppekava põhimõtetega sarnaneva koostöölepingu alusel.

ÕKE 122. Kui üliõpilane õpib väliskõrgkoolis piiriülese ühisõppekava või piiriülese ühisõppekava põhimõtetega sarnaneva kõrgkoolidevahelise koostöölepingu alusel ja   üliõpilane immatrikuleeritakse väliskõrgkooli, ei peata õppeplaani ega õppelepingut esitama. Õppeleping tuleb esitada juhul, kui väliskõrgkooliõppima siirduv üliõpilane osaleb samaaegselt ka mõnes üliõpilasvahetusprogrammis.

ÕKE 124. Nominaalaja pikenduse semestril, akadeemilise puhkuse semestril ega punktis 122 nimetatud alusel välismaale õppima siirdunud üliõpilase nominaalset õppeaega ei pikendata väliskõrgkoolis viibitud semestrite võrra.

get an automatic message one day after the end of studies abroad to the university e-mail address (...@ut.ee), to the additional e-mail address entered into the contact data and to the mailbox of messages.

A similar notification is also sent to the university e-mail address (...@ut.ee) and SIS messages of RPL counsellors noted in the general information of the learner’s curriculum and to the person who compiled the directive for sending the student to study abroad.

Procedures at UT following study abroad

Dear student,

This notification is due to the fact that your study abroad period has ended. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, please definitely follow UT instructions on: https://ut.ee/en/corona


According to the University of Tarty Study Regulations, a student has 8 weeks from the final day of his/her study abroad period to hand in a transcript of records issued by the foreign institution where the student studied. Please make sure to inform your institute/college, if the transcript of records cannot be handed in within 8 weeks.

According to the documentation related to your study abroad period and the volume of credits to be completed (as set in the study plan), you have the right for extension of studies in the semester(s) following the study abroad period. The extension of studies is registered automatically (no need to apply) either for one or two semesters, depending on your study abroad period, and the extension semester starts from the semester that follows your study abroad period. The extension of studies is registered automatically (no need to apply) either for one or two semesters, depending on the number of semesters spent abroad and provided that abroad you completed at least 15 ECTS per semester. The extension semester at UT starts from the semester that follows your study abroad period. If the study results gained abroad do not allow getting the extension (see https://www.ut.ee/en/paper-work-study-abroad), the student is required to compensate for the missing credits as foreseen by the regular procedure, and the extension will be withdrawn. Compensation for the missing credits does not apply to the students who pay for their studies at the University of Tartu, and also during their study abroad period (30% of the contractual tuition fee).

Please remember that there are additional rules various study abroad programmes may entail, so make sure that you also follow those.
If you are planning to take up studies abroad also in the coming semester (meaning you are not attending classes at UT in the semester following this recently ended study abroad cycle), please inform the dean's office of your faculty within two weeks from today, and arrange all documentation required for that purpose. In that case, the extension for this recently ended study abroad period will not be granted.
If you have questions, please consult your dean’s office.

If you are going to apply for academic leave right after returning from a study abroad semester /year, please remember that in that case the extension of studies described above will not be granted automatically. If you take academic leave right after your study abroad period, you need to apply for the extension of studies before the very end of your academic leave. It is student's responsibility to apply for the extension of studies if one needs to take a break (academic leave) right after study abroad.
If the outcome of your study abroad period (in terms of credits and time) does not allow applying for the extension, one cannot get the extension of studies after academic leave.

The notification is not sent if the student is allowed or sent to study abroad according to a joint curriculum or a cooperation agreement similar to the principles of a transnational joint curriculum.

Study Regulations, clause 122. f a student studies at a higher education institution abroad based on a cross-border joint curriculum or a cooperation agreement between higher education institutions which is similar to the principles of cross-border joint curricula, and the student is matriculated to
the foreign higher education institution for the period of studying abroad, the student does not have to submit a study plan or a learning agreement. A learning agreement must be submitted if the student who goes to study at a foreign higher education institution participates in a student exchange programme at the same time.
Study Regulations, clause 124. For students who have taken up studies abroad during the semester of extension of the standard period of study, during the semester of academic leave or in the cases specified in clause 122, the standard period of study is not extended by the semesters the student studied at the foreign higher education institution.
