Õppeaines toimunud akadeemilise petturluse avastanud õppejõud teeb rikkumise puhul üliõpilasele hoiatuse või raskema rikkumise korral komisjonile esildise juhtumi menetlemiseks. Üliõpilasel on õigus esitada viie tööpäeva jooksul seletuskiri ja hoiatus vaidlustada.

ÕISi sisestatud hoiatuse aktiveerimise järel saadetakse õppijale automaatne teavitus. Teavitus saadetakse teadete postkasti ja ÕISi kontaktandmetesse märgitud õppija e-posti aadressidele. Kirja sisu on eesti ja inglise keeles.

A member of the teaching staff who discovers academic fraud shall give a warning to the student in the event of a violation or make a referral to the committee to deal with the case in the event of a more serious violation. The student has the right to submit a letter of explanation within five working days and request that the case be considered by the committee.

After activating the warning in SIS, an automatic notification is sent to the learner. The notification will be sent to the learner's SIS mailbox of messages and e-mail addresses given in the SIS contact data. The content of the letter is in Estonian and English.
