The employees of the IT Office have received instructions to do distance work and come to the office only when it is absolutely necessary. This also applies to helpdesk specialists.
We want to continue our work as normally as possible and recommend the same to you.
We will continue administrating the information system, solving problems and implementing projects.
Discussions and meetings must be held at the planned time and in the planned volume, but using MS Teams to avoid physical contact.
Guidelines on distance work for the university members:
Contact the IT helpdesk if you need
additional devices for distance meetings – microphones, headphones, cameras, etc. We will try to purchase all the essential equipment as quickly as possible;
to take your desktop computer home. The computer’s settings may need additional modification to work outside the internal network. Laptops should work fine without changing settings;
set up remote desktop access to a smart device in the internal network of the university (lab computer, desktop computer, control device, etc). Remote access may require changing settings only an administrator is authorised to do.
During the state of emergency, you can contact the IT helpdesk every day from 8 to 18.

As a rule, we will help you from distance (advice and remote administration of computers). We will come to your office only when it is absolutely necessary.
Guidelines on using digital solutions are in the public website of IT helpdesk and the digital development repository(requires the UT user account).
We will closely monitor our servers and services to ensure they withstand the increase in distance work. We will react as operatively as possible in any situation.
