Õppekorralduse sõnaraamat
Õppekorralduslik info siseveebis
Töölaud kuvab ÕIS-i andmetel põhineva TÜ õpianalüütika mudeli loodud infot ja teavitusi
üliõpilaste väljalangemisriskide kohta, sh potentsiaalseid raskusi isiku (individuaalsel) ja
õppekava (grupi) tasemel.
Töölaual on kaks vaadet.
(nt kopeerides URL-i).
Need on õpianalüütika ennustusmudeli faktorid, mille arvutamise aluseks on üliõpilaste
väljalangemist ennustavad riskitegurid ÕIS-i andmetel. Õpianalüütika mudelis kasutatud andmeid saab vaadata siit.
Tulemuslikkus tähendab õpingutes edasijõudmist ja tulemusi, mille arvutamise aluseks
mudelis on nt saadud ainepunktid ja sooritatud eksamid.
Pingutus tähendab õpingutega seotud tegevusi, mille hindamise aluseks mudelis on nt
The dashboard displays information and notifications generated by the UT learning analytics model (based on SIS data) regarding the dropout risks of individual students, including potential struggling factors at the individual and curriculum (group) level.
The dashboard has two views.
Individual and group views can be used simultaneously by opening the in a separate tab/window (e.g., by copying the URL). If you switch between the individual and group view on the dashboard, this will cancel your search settings.
These are factors of the learning analytics predictive model, which are calculated based on the risk factors predicting students’ dropout according to SIS data. The data used in the learning analytics model can be viewed here.
Performance means progress in studies and results. The basis for their calculation in the model is, e.g., the credit points earned and passed exams.
Effort means actions related to studies; their assessment in the model is based, e.g., on courses registered and duration of academic leave.
Academic background reflects the indicators related to previous studies, e.g. the level of earlier education and admission score.
The predictable risk level shows to which dropout risk group a concrete student belongs. Dropout risk is calculated based on the data of the model. Students with a high predictable risk level have more risk factors with higher weight which are associated with dropout.
Low predictable risk level shows that the student may need support in some aspects of studies, but there is no urgent need for help.
Medium predictable risk level suggests that the student would benefit from receiving support. High predictable risk level indicates that, without receiving support, the student may struggle in studies.
Õppimise aasta näitab täisaastate arvu hetkest, mil üliõpilane on konkreetse õppekava alusel
aastate kaupa. See joonis võib anda infot riskitegurite trendidest õppekava ajajoonel.
Lisainfo puudutab valitud riskitasemeid ja õppimise aastaid. Võite valida, milliste faktorite
riskitegurid iga üliõpilase kohta esile tuua.
Saate saata üliõpilasele kirja oma postkasti kaudu, kasutades etteantud kirjamalli. Kirjamalli on võimalik oma eelistuste järgi muuta. Milliseid ennetavaid ja toetavaid tegevusi tudengitele saab TÜ-s pakkuda, leiate siit.
„Pole õppinud välismaal“. Välismaal õppimine seostub õppekava eduka läbimisega. See on väljalangemist ennustav riskitegur õppekava puhul, kus üliõpilased tavaliselt õpivad välismaal.
Results can be filtered according to the risk level and year of student, e.g., you can select to display only students with a high risk level in their 3rd year of studies.
“Entire curriculum” means that no filters are applied, and the results of the entire curriculum are displayed.
The years of study represent the number of years since the moment the student was been enrolled in a concrete curriculum at the university (in the model – current date minus date of enrolment).
The figure shows the proportion and number of students in the group of dropout risk according to the main factors describing their risk (performance, effort or academic background) according to years of study. This figure may give information about risk factor trends on the curriculum timeline.
Additional information concerns the selected risk levels and years of study. You can select which risk factors are displayed about each student.
You can send letters to students through your mailbox using the ready-made letter template. The letter template can be changed according to your preferences. The preventive and support activities offered to students by UT can be found here.
“Has not studied abroad.” Studying abroad is related to the successful completion of the curriculum. This is a risk factor predicting dropout in a curriculum where students commonly study abroad. If none of the students of a curriculum study abroad, all the students share this risk factor, and it need not be an essential distinguisher.
“Little financial support”. The student has not received stipends or allowances from UT. Receiving financial support is related to the successful completion of the curriculum.
Klaster on ühiste riskiteguritega üliõpilaste alagrupp. Klastrite moodustamiseks on kasutatud eri faktorite riskitegureid.
See joonis näitab, millised riskitegurid iseloomustavad vastava klastri üliõpilasi. Arv teljel on osakaal klastri üliõpilastest, kes on määratletud riskirühma konkreetse näitaja ehk riskiteguri tõttu.
Näide allpool: roosa ehk 5. klaster koosneb seitsmest üliõpilasest. Kõik need seitse üliõpilast (100%) on märgitud riskirühma kuulujateks, sest nad pole õppinud välismaal ja neil on vähe ainepunkte vabaainete eest. Ainult kaks seitsmest üliõpilasest (28%) on märgitud riskirühma kuulujaks nende eelneva kogemuse põhjal TÜ üliõpilasena.
The cluster is a subgroup of students who share common risk factors. To form clusters, risk factors of different factors have been used.
This means that the learning analytics model has raised no warnings about this student cohort. There are few students of the risk group, or they have no common features.
The figure shows which risk factors characterise the students of the corresponding cluster. The number on the axis is the percentage of students who have been placed into a risk factor because of a concrete indicator or risk factor.
The example below: the pink cluster or cluster 5 consists of seven students. All these seven students (100%) are identified as at risk because they have no experience of studying abroad and they have few extracurricular credit points. Only two out of the seven students (28%) are identified as at risk due to their previous experie
