Mis on TÜ postkasti vidin?

TÜ postkasti vidin näitab sulle TÜ ametliku e-posti aadressile saabunud lugemata kirjade arvu (joonisel) ning vidinale klikkides viib sind sinu TÜ Outlooki e-postkasti.

Selleks, et vidin näitaks sulle sinu lugemata kirjade arvu, pead sa enne end Tartu Ülikooli MS Outlooki veebiversioonis autentima.


Pea meeles, et kui sa kasutad ühisarvutit, siis kindlasti logi välja nii ÕISist kui ka MS Office'i kontost!

What is an UT mailbox widget?

The UT mailbox widget shows you the number of unread emails received (see figure) at the official UT e-mail address. Clicking on the widget opens your UT Outlook e-mail inbox in a new tab.

In order for the widget to show you the number of your unread emails, you must first authenticate in UT MS Outlook web version.

If you are using a public computer, please make sure you log out of SIS and MS Office!

Mis vahet on TÜ postkasti vidinal ja Teated vidinal?

Teated vidin näitab sulle ÕIS-is saadetud teadete arvu ning vidinal klikkides viib sind Teated lehele, mis on ÕISi teadete haldamise postkast. 

TÜ postkasti vidin aga kuvab sulle TÜ MS Outlooki kontol olevate lugemata kirjade arvu ning vidinal klikkides saad liikuda TÜ MS Outlooki postkasti.  

What is the difference between UT mailbox and Notifications widgets?

The Notifications widget (figure p 1) shows you the number of messages that have been sent only from SIS and by clicking on the widget takes you to the Messages menu which is the mailbox for managing SIS notifications. 

However, the UT mailbox widget (figure p 2) shows you the number of unread messages in the UT Outlook account and by clicking on the widget you can move to the MS Outlook mailbox.

Miks ma ei näe lugemata kirjade arvu?

Kui sul on TÜ MS Outlook, siis piisab ühekordsest autentimisest veebibrauseris. Kui oled end autentinud, siis toimub sünkroniseerimine sinu MS Outlooki ja töölaual oleva TÜ postkasti vahel. Kui sünkronisatsioon ei toimi, siis kontrolli, kas su arvutis ja  TÜ MS Outlookis on sünkronisatsioon sisse lülitatud.

Why can't I see the number of unread messages?

If you have UT MS Outlook, one-time authentication in the web browser is sufficient. If you have authenticated yourself, synchronization will take place between your MS Outlook and the UT mailbox on your desktop. If the synchronization does not work, check whether the synchronization is activated on your computer and in MS Outlook.

Kas saan ka teisi postkaste ühendada TÜ postkastiga? 

Teisi postkaste TÜ postkastiga ühendada ei saa. Kui sul on muud isiklikud postkastid, siis pead need enne ühendama TÜ Outlooki kontoga. Ainult TÜ MS Outlook töötab ÕISi töölaual oleva TÜ postkasti vidinaga.

Can I connect other mailboxes to the UT mailbox?

Other mailboxes cannot be connected to the UT mailbox. If you have other personal email accounts, you must first connect them to the UT Outlook account. Only UT Outlook account works with the UT mailbox widget.
