When copying or backing up data to external information systems or storage device the user must make sure that the data is not accessible by unauthorized people. If you are not sure about the security of the data ask for advice from IT support before transferring the data.

When using non-university services the university can't guarantee the security of the data, so it is best to keep data that is related to university on the services that is provided by the university.
