Kuidas ma aru saan, kas mul on valikud tehtud?

Kui sinu Valikud õppekavas vaates on punase kirjaga hoiatus Moodulite valik ei ole tehtud! (joonisel), siis ei ole sul peaeriala valikud tehtud ega salvestatud.

Kui läbitud õppeained, mis kuuluvad sinu õppekavas kohustusliku mooduli alla (joonisel p 1) on kuvatud Vabaainete mooduli all (joonisel p 2), siis on sul õppeained valimata.

Selleks, et oma peaeriala valikuid teha, pead valima moodulid ja õppeained ning need valikud salvestama.

How do I know if I have made my selections?

If there is a red warning text Modules have not been selected! (see Figure) in Selections of curriculum view, then the selections have not been made.

If the completed courses that belong to the compulsory module in your curriculum (figure p 1) are displayed under the Optional courses module (figure p 2), then you have not made course selections.

In order to make your selections, you must first choose modules and subjects and then save these selections.

Kuidas teha peaeriala valikuid?

Moodulite ja/või õppeainete valimiseks vajuta nupule Peaeriala valikud (joonisel). 

Avaneb peaeriala valikute muutmise leht. Kohustuslikud moodulid ja ained on vaikimisi valitud (tähistatud halli märkeruuduga) ja nendest ei ole võimalik loobuda (vt joonis).

Õppekavas mooduli valimiseks täida mooduli nimetuse ees märkeruut (joonisel p 1). Kui moodulisse kuulub mooduli kogumahus või vähem õppeaineid, siis valitakse automaatselt ka õppeained (joonisel p 2).

Kui moodulisse kuulub mooduli kogumahust suuremas mahus õppeaineid või alammooduleid, siis tuleb sul valida ka õppeained ja/või alammoodulid. (joonisel)

Valikute salvestamiseks vajuta Salvesta.

How to make selections for the main specialisation?

To select modules and/or courses, press Selections for main specialiation button (see figure). 

The page for changing selections for main specialisation opens. Compulsory modules and courses are selected by default (marked with a gray check box) and it is not possible to opt out of them (see figure).

To select a module in the curriculum, fill in the check box in front of the module (figure p 1). If the module includes the total volume of the module or less courses, then the courses are automatically selected (figure p 2).

If the module includes more courses or sub-modules than the total volume of the module, you must also select courses and/or sub-modules (see figure).

When the selections are made, click Save.

Kuidas suurendada peaeriala?

Kui sa soovid kõrvaleriala valimise asemel süveneda põhjalikumalt peaerialasse, saad sa peaeriala suurendada enda või teisest õppekavast:

• lisa suunamoodulitega 
• lisa erialamoodulitega 
• lisa suuna- ja erialamooduliga
• lisa valikmooduliga 

Peaeriala suurendamiseks vajuta vasakul Minu asjad menüü plokis lingile Valikud õppekavas. Vajuta nupul Suurenda peaeriala (joonisel).

Peaeriala suurendamisel on kolm võimalust:

• valid lisa valikmooduli oma peaerialast, võttes suuna- ja/või erialamoodulid teisest õppekavast
• Valid ühe suuna- või erialamooduli enda peaerialast, võttes puuduoleva suuna- või erialamooduli teisest õppekavast
• Valid suuna- ja/või erialamooduli oma peaerialast

Kas saan tehtud valikuid muuta?

Peaeriala suurendamise valikuid saad muuta Valikud õppekavas vaates Peaeriala suurendamine plokis vajutades nupule Muuda (joonisel).

Kas saan tehtud valikust loobuda?

Peaeriala suurendamisest loobumiseks vajuta Valikud õppekavas vaates Peaeriala suurendamine plokis nupule Loobu (joonisel).

How to enhance the main specialisation?

If, instead of choosing a minor specialisation, you want to delve deeper into your main specialisation, you can enhance your main specialisation from your own or from another curriculum with:

• an additional field modules
• an additional specialisation modules
• an additional field and specialisation module
• an aditional elective module

To enhance your main specialisation, click on the Enhance main specialisation button (see figure).

There are three ways to enhance your main specialisation:

• choose an additional elective module from your major, and taking field and/or specialisation modules from another curriculum
• choose one field or specialisation module from your major, and taking the missing field or specialisation module from another curriculum
• choose a field or specialisation module from your major

Can I change the selections I made?

You can change the choices you made for increasing your major by pressing the Change button (see figure) in the block Increasing your major in the Options view in the curriculum.

Can I delete the selection I made?

To delete the increase of the major, press the Delete button (see figure) in the Enhancing main Specialisation section.

In the pop-up window, click Yes (see figure).

Kuidas muuta/vahetada peaeriala?

Peariala valikut saad muuta Valikud õppekavas vaates vajutades nupule Peaeriala valikud (joonisel).

Kui sa aga soovid peaerial vahetada teises õppekavas pakutava peaeriala vastu, tuleb sul vahetada õppekava. Õppekava vahetamiseks on kaks võimalust:

• ülikooli uuesti sisse astuda või kandideerida õpingute jooksul soovitud õppekava vabale õppekohale. Uuesti sisseastumine tähendab õpingute alustamist otsast peale. Sisseastumiseks tuleb esitada soovitud õppekavale kandideerimisavaldus, täita vastavaks õppeaastaks õppekavale kehtestatud vastuvõtutingimused ning osutuda vastuvõetuks.
• vabale õppekohale saab kandideerida, kui varasemad õpingud sobivad uude õppekavva ja vaba õppekoht on olemas. Kandideerimise tingimused kehtestab õppekava haldav valdkond. Loe lähemalt kandideerimisest vabale õppekohale.  

Kui sa kahtled oma valikutes ning soovid rohkem infot oma eriala väljavaadete kohta, siis võid pöörduda karjäärinõustaja poole.

Kui muudan peaeriala või mooduleid, mis saab seni sooritatud ainetest?

Kui sa valid uue eriala, mis sisaldab kas osaliselt või kõiki uusi mooduleid või vahetad mõne seni valitud moodulitest mõne teise vastu, siis:

• kui selles uues moodulis on aineid, mis on sul juba läbitud ning sa valid uues moodulis selle aine, paigutub aine automaatselt uude valitavasse moodulisse
• kui läbitud aineid uutes moodulites ei ole, paigutuvad need vabaainete alla.
• järgmiseks päevaks muutub õppekava täitmise protsent vastavalt uutele valikutele.

How to make changes in/change the main specialisation?

You can make changes to the main specialisation by pressing the Selections for Main Specialisation button (see figure).

However, if you wish to change your main specialisation to a major offered in another curriculum, you have to change your curriculum. There are two ways to change the curriculum:

• apply again to the University of Tartu or apply for a vacant study place in the desired curriculum during your studies. Applying again means starting your studies all over again. In order to enter, you must submit an application for the desired bachelor's program, fulfill the admission conditions established for the bachelor's program for the corresponding academic year, and be accepted.
• apply for a vacant study place if your previous studies fit the new curriculum and there is a vacant study place. The application conditions are established by the faculty managing the curriculum. Read more about applying for a vacant study place.

If I change my main specialisation or modules, what happens to the courses I have completed so far?

If you choose a new major, which includes either partially or all new modules, or if you change one of the modules you have chosen for another one, then:

• if this new module contains courses that you have already completed and you choose this course in the new module, the course will automatically be placed in the new module to be selected
• if the completed courses are not in the new modules, they are placed under optional courses
• by the next day, the percentage of completion of the curriculum will change according to the new selections

Kas saan varasemaid õpinguid ja töökogemust üle kanda?

Õppekava täitmisel võib ülikool arvestada varasemaid õpinguid ja töökogemust vastavalt ÕKE eeskirja lisas 3 kehtestatud varasemate õpingute ja töökogemuse arvestamise (VÕTA) tingimustele ja korrale. 

Taotlus ja lisadokumendid tuleb esitada õppekava haldava üksuse (valdkonna, instituudi, teaduskonna, kolledži) VÕTA nõustajale. Kui oled varasemad õpingud või töökogemuse sooritanud väljaspool Tartu Ülikooli, pead esitama ka õpinguid tõendavad dokumendid. Õpinguid tõendavaid dokumente ei pea esitama juhul, kui Tartu Ülikooli õppeinfosüsteemis on õppeaine sooritamine tõendatud.

VÕTA taotlemine võib olla tasuline või tasuta.

Kui varasemaid õpinguid ja/või töökogemust arvestatakse õppekava täitmise osana, sisestatab sinu nõustaja arvestatud õppeaine(d) ja moodul(id) komisjoni otsuse alusel õppeinfosüsteemi vastava mooduli alla ning üle kantud ained lähevad arvesse õppekoormuse arvestamisel ning ka õppetoetuste ja erialastipendiumi taotlemisel.

Can I transfer prior studies and professional experience?

When completing the curriculum, the university may take into account prior learning and professional experience in accordance with the conditions and procedure for recognition of prior learning and professional experience (“RPL”) established in Annex 3 of the Study Regulations.

The application and additional documents must be submitted to the RPL advisor of the unit managing the curriculum (institute, faculty, college). If you have completed previous studies or work experience outside the University of Tartu, you must also submit documents proving your studies. Documents certifying studies do not need to be submitted if completion of the courses has been verified in the Study Information System of the University of Tartu.

Applying for an RPL can be for a fee or free of charge.

If previous studies and/or work experience are recognised as part of the curriculum, your advisor will enter the considered course(s) and module(s) under the corresponding module of the Study Information System based on the committee's decision, and the transferred courses will be taken into account when calculating the study load and also when applying for study grants and scholarships.
