Setup (OS X)

  • From the Firefox menu, select Firefox -> Preferences...
  • Click on the Advanced tab and then on its Network subtab. In the "Connection -> Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet" section, click the "Settings..." button.

  • Click OK and close the preferences dialog from the corner of the window.

    • Disconnecting from UT system proxy

    To stop using the university proxy, open the same dialog and select Direct connection to the Internet.

    1. Safari automatically uses the proxy settings of the macOS operating system.
