To use a proxy server on a Mac device, the operating system proxy must be set up.

MacOS
- Open the Apple menu
and select System Settings.
- Use the search bar to find the Proxies settings and open it.
- In the menu that opens, activate Automatic proxy configuration ja enter http://ut.ee/utlib.pac into the URL field. To save, click OK.
- The proxy of the University of Tartu has been successfully activated.
Safari
- Safari automatically uses the proxy settings of the macOS operating system.
- To deactivate, remove the checkmark from Automatic proxy configuration and press OK.
