FileZilla

In this guide, you will find instructions about transporting files using the FileZilla application.

FileZilla is a freeware cross-platform file exchange program. FileZilla works on OSX, Windows and Linux environments.

You can also exchange files with UT servers with FileZilla.

In order to connect to the University of Tartu server with FileZilla, set up your application as follows:

1. Click File → Site Manager.
   
   
2. Click on the New site button and fill in the fields as follows:
   1. Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
   2. Host: adalberg.ut.ee
   3. Logon Type: ask for password
   4. User: your UT username
      
3. To save, click the OK button, to connect, click the Connect button.
