Studies on the Interplay Between Galaxies and Their Ecosystems

I will present the projects that I have worked on during the last five years. Ranging from statistical studies of galaxy properties en mass, to multi-wavelength, high resolution studies of individual galaxies experiencing the wrath of large cluster’s intra-cluster matter (ICM). In terms of methodology they range from detailed analysis of data from Arecibo and ALMA radio telescopes to machine learning methods for analysing large amounts of data from public galaxy surveys. The past and ongoing projects concentrate on the cold gas content of galaxies in different environments and specifically on the latter stages of the gas cycle - processes affecting the quenching of star formation. The outlook is towards studying the most important environmental effect affecting galaxy evolution- gas accretion.
