Ühendumine eduroam'i (Android)

Android operatsioonisüsteemiga telefoni või tahvelarvuti ühendamiseks eduroam võrguga toimetage järgmiselt:

Paigaldage Play Storest rakendus nimega eduroam CAT.

1. Alternatiivina on rakendus saadav ka Amazoni Appstore'st või aadressil https://cat.eduroam.org.

Rakenduse esmakordsel avamisel kuvatakse lähedal asuvate haridusasutuste profiilid. Valige nimekirjast Tartu Ülikooli profiil.

Paigaldage profiil Install nupuga.

Sisestage oma kasutajatunnus ja lisage sellele lõppu "@ut.ee" (nt kasutajatunnus@ut.ee).

1. Avage seadme menüüs valik Seaded või Settings.

2. Leidke ja avage avanenud menüüst WiFi seaded.

3. Leidke saadaval WiFi võrkude nimekirjast eduroam ja vajutage sellel, et end võrguga ühendada.

4. Ühendamisel küsitakse eriseadistusi ning need tuleb määrata järgmiselt:

EAP method: PEAP
Phase-2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA cerificate: Unspecified (Võib esineda kujul sulgudes)

Identity: kasutajatunnus@ut.ee
Parool: Tartu Ülikooli kasutajatunnusega seotud parool

This page will explain, how to set up eduroam on your Android device.

Install eduroam CAT from the Google Play store.

1. Alternatively download the application from the Amazon store or from https://cat.eduroam.org.

Run the eduroam CAT app on your device.

When running the application for the first time, it will list available profiles for nearby institution. Choose the University of Tartu profile.

Install the profile.

Enter your username and add "@ut.ee" (i.e username@ut.ee).

Enter your password.

Click Install.

1. Open the Settings menu on your device.

2. From the Setting menu, find the entry called WiFi.

3. From the list of available wireless networks, find eduroam and press on it to connect.

4. When connecting, you will be prompted for additional settings. Use the following settings:

EAP method: PEAP
Phase-2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA cerificate: Unspecified (May be in brackets)
Identity: username@ut.ee
Passwod: Password associated with your University of Tartu user account.

You will receive a message Profile installed when everything went correctly. You can now use eduroam.
