Both screens will show the same image and the mouse cursor moves in the same way, both screens also have the same icons and windows. This option makes more sense if the lecturer does not use Powerpoint, but some other program (Word, Acrobat, etc.).

The mouse cursor can only be on one screen at a time. It can of course be moved between the two screens, it takes practice. You can drag all windows, icons, etc. with the mouse. from one screen to another, but in public computers (lecture rooms, etc.) it is not recommended - this option will remain visible for everyone in the future and confuses. The lecturer sees the active Powerpoint slide, the next slide, and his comments, but only the active slide is visible on the big screen.
