Introduction

When using the cloud service, please apply two-factor authentication as soon as possible: step authentication is required: Activate two-factor authentication in Microsoft 365.

Setup

1. Update

   On your smart device

   software to the latest version: Settings > General > Software Update.

2. Open the phone Settings and open Accounts.

3. Choose Add account and select Microsoft Exchange as the account type.

4. Enter Your e-mail address username@ut.ee and pick a description for the account. The description can be anything You want (i.e UT e-mail). Tap Next.

5. Tap on Sign In.

6. , open the Apple Mail application.

7. Select Microsoft Exchange.

8. In the Email field, enter your UT username in the format of username@ut.ee and in the Description field, enter the description (for example UT) and press the Next button.

9. In the window that opens, select Sign In.

10. In the window that opens, enter your UT passwordand click the Sign In button.

11. To authorize Apple Mail, click Accept.

12. Select the functions you want to use in the Apple Mail application and press the Save button.

13. Apple Mail is successfully set up!

    Fill in the password field and click Done.

    NB! If you already have 2FA authentication, you will also be asked to confirm your login.
