NB!To use UT mailbox, the Thunderbird version must be at least 77.
The latest Thunderbird can be downloaded from:

This guide is based on Mozilla Thunderbird version 102.12.0. Install the latest version if necessary!

title	First time setup

Open the Thunderbird application.

Fill in as follows:
1. Your full name: your first name and last name
2. Email address: UT e-mail addres in the format firstname.lastname@ut.ee
3. Password: UT account password
4. After entering the data, press the Continue button.

The IMAP settings will be displayed, press the Done button.

If there is a need to change the IMAP settings, select Configure manually.

Enter your UT account password and click the Sign In button.

Verify your identity using two-factor authentication.

To allow the Mozilla Thunderbird applcation, select Accept.

Mozilla Thunderbird has been set up successfully! Click the Finish button to complete the installation.
