In this guide, you will find instructions about adding your University of Tartu Microsoft 365 account to Outlook on a macOS device (Macbook, iMac etc.)
When using cloud service, applying two-factor authentication is mandatory: Activating two-factor authentication.
Find and open the Apps application from the Mac Dock.
Type "App Store" into the search bar and open the application with that name.

In the search box at the top, type "Outlook".

Locate the Outlook application and click Get.
Once Outlook has finished downloading, click Open.
The Outlook account setup screen should appear, prompting you to add an account.
- If you are adding a university account (username@ut.ee), click Add.
If it is prompting you to add a non university account (username@ut.ee), click Add another account.
Enter your university username (in the format username@ut.ee) and click Continue.
Outlook redirects you to the sign-in page, where you need to enter your password.
After signing in, your university account will be connected to Outlook, and all emails and settings should synchronize to your device.

Launch the Outlook application. You can find its icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Alternatively, select Apps from the Mac Dock at the bottom of the screen and open it.
Type "Outlook" into the search bar.

Once Outlook is open, click Outlook in the top-left corner of the screen.
Then click Settings.
The account settings window will open. Select + Add Account.
- Enter your university username (in the format username@ut.ee) and click Continue.
- Outlook redirects you to the sign-in page, where you need to enter your password.
- After signing in, your university account will be connected to Outlook, and all emails and settings should synchronize to your device.
