Setting up the VPN connection

1. Go to https://tunnel2.ut.ee

1. Enter the username of your University of Tartu account in

1. the Username field.

1. Enter the password associated with your account in

1. the Password field.

1.  Click on the link that

1. says Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent, to download the installer for your device.

1. Launch the installer and follow the instructions on the screen. If you don't have permissions to install software then contact the IT support.

Establishing a VPN connection

1. To establish a VPN connection, you need to have GlobalProtect software installed on your computer.
2. Launch the GlobalProtect VPN software, an icon will appear at the notification area.
   
   
   
3. Right click on the icon, on the window that opens type tunnel2.ut.ee and then Connect...
    
    
4. After entering your username and password, click Sign In.

Disconnecting the VPN connection

1. To disconnect an active VPN connection, right click on the GlobalProtect VPN icon.
2. Click Disconnect.

Updating VPN client

1. GlobalProtect VPN client software is updated centrally.

2. If the client software update is available, the user gets notified about the newer version.

   

3. To update the software, agree to download it.
4. Next, agree with the installation.
