MacOS (after macOS Ventura)
- Your computer has to be connected to the university's network using a network cable, eduroam wireless or a VPN connection.
NB! Printing will not work when using the ut-public wireless network. - From the top-left corner of your screen, open the Apple menu→ System Settings.
- Select Printers & Scanners → Add printer, Scanner or Fax.
- Click the Advanced settings icon and wait for the system to search for printers.
- Add the following configuration:
- Type: LPD/LPR Host or Printer
- Device: Another Device
- URL: lpd://172.17.0.17/PRINTER-MAC
- Name: UT printer (or any other name you choose)
- Use: Select software
- To the search bar, type iR-ADV C325 III and select Canon iR-ADV C325/3530 III.
- Click OK.
- Click Add.
- To the search bar, type iR-ADV C325 III and select Canon iR-ADV C325/3530 III.
- In the next window put a tick in the Duplex Printing Unit checkbox in order to print on both sides of the paper and click OK.
- To set your UT user as the default user who uses the printer, click the > icon on the right of your printer.
- Change the configuration:
- Cassette Feeding Unit: ON
- Inner Finisher Additional Tray: ON
- On the top right, click Utility and Open Printer Utility.
- Click User Information and enter your UT username.
- Click Save settings.
- Close the window by clicking Close in the top left of your screen.
- Click Done.
