Introduction
The number of Mathcad online licenses is 100.
Mathcad is a scientific and engineering calculation package. Unlike other popular math packages (Maple, Matlab, Mathematica, etc.), spreadsheet systems (MS Excel, etc.) and programming languages (Pascal, C, etc.), Mathcad allows you to enter mathematical expressions in an almost natural form like in printed texts. Especially compared to spreadsheet systems, it is much easier to follow the progress of calculations in a Mathcad document.
The program can be installed from https://mathcad.edu.ee/
The old address, where forwarding still works (08.04.2021): https://mathcad.hitsa.ee/.
The address of the Mathcad license name record has changed, which is license.mathcad.edu.ee.
Previously, mathcad-license.hitsa.ee, mc15.e-uni.ee and snape.e-uni.ee were used.
Mathcad version Prime 7 is available. NB! Earlier versions of Mathcad are no longer supported.
When upgrading from an earlier version of Mathcad to Prime 7, "XMCD, MCD Converter" should also be installed to upgrade the calculations to the Prime version. Instructions on how to convert can be found here.
Computer classes
Education and Youth Board is no longer providing licenses and currently the program is not available. It is possible to purchase licenses through a new distributor and the pack sizes are 10, 25, 50 or 100 licenses. These licenses would use University of Tartu license server.
It is also possible to purchase single-user license which is computer based and does not require license server access.
