Setting up the VPN connection

1. In your web browser, openhttps://eduvpn.ut.ee.
   
2. Enter the username and password of your University of Tartu account (login with username and password).
   
3. Select macOS.
   
   
4. To install the eduVPN client application, click Get → Install.
   
5. After the successful installation process, press the Open button.
   
6. To accept the Privacy statement, click Accept.
   
7. Open the EduVPN application.
   
8. Enter University of Tartu or UT in the search and click on Tartu Ülikool under Institute Access.
   
9. In the window that opens in the web browser, click the Approve button to allow the eduVPN connection.
   
10. EduVPN client has been successfully approved.
    

Establishing the VPN connection

1. To connect, open the eduVPN Client application.
   
2. Select Tartu Ülikool.
   
3. Press the gray slider button to connect.
   
4. To allow the eduVPN application, select Allow.
   
5. Choose whether you want notifications about session expiration. We recommend choosing Notify.
   
6. EduVPN is successfully connected when the icons turn green.
   

Disconnecting the VPN connection

1. To disconnect, open the eduVPN client application.
   
2. Press the green slider to disconnect.
