If necessary, the information technology department creates a guest account for the partners and guests of the university based on the request of the head of the structural unit interested in it by the deadline indicated in it.

If until now it was enough to order a guest account via the IT services information portal only by choosing the name of the head of the structural unit and ticking the corresponding confirmation box, in the future every guest account request submitted through the portal must also be confirmed electronically by the head of the structural unit.
Confirmation is considered given when the head of the structural unit sends a reply to the e-mail sent to him from the information portal or confirms the request using the link in the letter.
The guest account has similar access to the regular account. The difference is with the intranet, which can only be accessed by employees of the University of Tartu.
